Field Trips
February 2024
Hampstead Heath & Kenwood House
The General English Class had the opportunity to stretch their legs during our most recent field trip across Hampstead Heath, a well-known London park spanning over 800 acres. Throughout the stroll, we came across the Viaduct Bridge, which overlooked one of Hampstead Heath’s eighteen ponds. Following our walk, we arrived at Kenwood House, which houses a collection of ancient paintings, many of which date back to the 15th century.
Cutty Sark &
Greenwich
It was such a beautiful day when we took our General English Class to visit Greenwich. We had a nice walk around the University of Greenwich and the Royal Naval College which is neighboured by magnificent buildings and statues of important figures. We came across the Royal Observatory that was right next to the GMT line which represents the historic Prime Meridian of the world. Our final stop was at the Greenwich Market where we enjoyed some food and looked at the various items on display.
