Through the Spring months, our English department has been flourishing with visits from Uzbek children who brought with them both strong discipline and great enthusiasm for the learning process. As we waved them goodbye, we welcomed new students from Germany, Belgium and Algeria. Our general English groups have been developing their language skills through a combination of real world contextualization, conversation and visits around London. We are immensely proud of their progress and improving confidence.

Mental Health Awareness Week
15-21 May
|
Mental Health Awareness Week is an important time to recognize the importance of mental health and to support those suffering from mental health issues. This year, Mental Health Awareness Week runs from May 15th to 21st and is a great opportunity to talk openly about mental health and to promote mental health awareness. Mental health is an important part of overall health, and it is important to take steps to ensure that mental health is treated with the same level of importance as physical health. During Mental Health Awareness Week, communities can come together to show support for those suffering from mental health issues and to spread awareness about the importance of mental health.
|
In our continued endeavors to support our staff and students health, we have partnered with Always Fit Health, a wellbeing start-up to help provide you with tools that can support your mental and physical health. We are now running the pilot with our student and staff representatives and will be working to understand the needs and aspirations are for wellbeing to improve our support services.
Once the pilot phase is complete, all staff and students will be provided with full access to the application.
