December was a great month here at Docklands. We welcomed Algerian students of all ages and backgrounds and gave them a taste of English culture and traditions, as well as improving their English language skills. We now look forward to a new year with new students and new challenges to relish. Happy New Year to all of the world

Our Higher Education students had a productive month learning about the industry in Hospitality Management and International Travel and Tourism. Their trip to the Hotel L'oscar expanded their learning in the hotel industry and gave them more insight on Hospitality Management.

Fortnum and Mason, National Gallery and Trafalger Square
|
The students took part in the celebrations in and around London as Christmas drew near. We explored the Trafalgar Square Christmas Market before visiting The National Gallery to take in some amazing art and culture. Fortnum and Mason, one of the oldest and most upscale stores in the world, served as the day's capstone. It goes without saying that the Christmas decorations there were lavish.

Our visit to the L'oscar hotel with our Higher Education students was a highlight of December. We loved the interior design of the building, and the students adored each room. We are all grateful for the opportunity to visit this luxury hotel, and we recommend that you look at our social media posts about the L'oscar London Hotel.

We have welcomed Students from Newvic Newham Sixth Form College for a work experience programme. We look forward to working with them more and helping them gather the experience they need.
