Today marks the first day of Black History Month 2020.

Black History Month is about education, reflection and celebration.

As Docklands Academy, we know the importance of recognizing key figures that have had an impact on our world. Throughout this month, our aim will be to shine a light on these individuals in order to acknowledge and appreciate how far we have come, and how far we have yet to go.
